26th February 2011 Kite surfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: WNW Wind Stength: 12-17 Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered: Nice unplanned surprise session today. Trees were moving around when I got up so went down at 9ish and found Michele was already out. Rigged 12m and had several hours nice cruising around. Quite a few others out later on as well. Would have stayed out longer had I known it was going to fill in a bit more after high tide but was already quite tired by then (its been a long winter and one 20k bike ride on occasional weekends when not peeing down or snowed in just isn't enough...) Gave up after managing to jam up one of the bar pulleys with the board leash after coming off in a load of white water in what seemed to be somewhat flukey wind but should have sorted it and gone back out because it got much better, however hungry and tired so back home for a late lunch and shower. Sat on sofa to catch the news and woke up 2 hours later..... |
